The open construction reduces the amount of fabric resting directly against the skin, helping air circulate while maintaining the familiar softness of cotton. It is best suited to casual wear, indoor layering, travel, and lower-output activity in mostly dry conditions.

Choose another Brynje fabric for technical use: For sustained sweating, strenuous sports, prolonged cold, or wet outdoor conditions, choose Super Thermo, Super Micro, Wool Thermo, or Wool Thermo Light instead.

Why Cotton Mesh Feels Different
The open-knit construction keeps much of the cotton fabric from lying flat against the body. This creates room for air to circulate and helps the garment feel lighter, less clingy, and more breathable than a conventional solid cotton undershirt.
Important: The open construction improves ventilation, but it does not change the underlying behavior of cotton fiber. Cotton can absorb and retain perspiration, so this collection is not recommended for sustained high-output activity in cold or wet conditions.
