Time vs. Trash
We openly reject the outdoor industry’s obsession with fast-fashion cycles. We do not design for artificial obsolescence, nor do we chase seasonal color trends to force next year's purchase. Our singular engineering goal is to build technical base layers that survive a decade of abuse. A garment that lasts ten years cuts environmental waste at the source—demanding less raw energy, less water, and zero space in a landfill.
Engineering the Mesh
True craftsmanship is invisible. The mechanical durability of our gear is hardcoded into the yarn geometry. By constructing a precise matrix of 80% premium Merino wool wrapped around a 20% Polycolon® polyester core, we capture the natural thermal and antimicrobial properties of wool while anchoring it to an unbreakable synthetic skeleton. The result is a high-tensile fabric that defies tearing and structural degradation far beyond industry standards.
Transparent Sourcing
We exclusively source our raw materials from elite European facilities, relying heavily on Swiss and Austrian Schoeller® yarns. Our supply chain is strictly verified: components carry global Bluesign® and Oeko-Tex® designations. Our wool undergoes chlorine-free EXP processing, and our hard shells are entirely free of toxic PFOA/PFOS chemicals. As a certified Eco-Lighthouse enterprise, we continuously audit our corporate transport and logistics footprint.
Animal Welfare & Human Rights
Performance cannot come at the cost of conscience. 100% of our wool supply is certifiably mulesing-free, and our technical down is harvested with absolute respect for avian welfare. Governed strictly by the Norwegian Openness Act, we mandate radical transparency across all manufacturing nodes. We aggressively guard against social dumping, ensuring equitable wages, flawless labor environments, and robust anti-discrimination policies globally.
Restoration Over Replacement
The mesh construction is inherently antimicrobial and odor-resistant—meaning it requires significantly fewer wash cycles. Washing less preserves the integrity of the structural fibers and saves water. When you finally push your gear past the breaking point, we don't expect you to replace it. We maintain a full-scale master tailoring and sewing room at our Larvik headquarters dedicated entirely to reconstructing, repairing, and keeping your original gear in active field service.
