Classic Wool is Brynje’s solid-knit Merino collection for soft, breathable warmth across a wide range of conditions. Wear it directly against the skin as a traditional wool baselayer, on its own during everyday use, or over a Brynje mesh baselayer when you need added insulation and moisture transport in colder weather.

-1°C to 16°CA practical starting window for Classic Wool worn as a standalone baselayer during active use. Lighter Classic styles work well in mild conditions, while midweight styles provide more warmth. Layer Classic Wool over Super Thermo or Wool Thermo when you need greater insulation in colder weather.

Why Solid-Knit Merino Works
Classic Wool provides continuous, soft Merino coverage rather than the large air spaces created by Brynje mesh. The solid knit makes it comfortable as a familiar standalone baselayer while still delivering natural temperature regulation, moisture management, and odor resistance. It can also be worn over a Brynje mesh baselayer when additional warmth and insulation are needed.
