Expedition® Jacket 2.0 - Women’s
Built to keep you dry, warm, and moving through cold, high-output conditions.

Severe-weather protection built for high mountains and polar exposure.
Expedition Shell is Brynje’s severe-weather outer layer for high mountains, polar travel, winter fieldwork, and extended exposure. Its three-layer Schoeller construction combines wind protection, a 20,000 mm water column, four-way stretch, taped seams, and mechanical ventilation to protect the complete layering system without unnecessarily restricting movement or moisture transport.
Sustained Wet, Windy, High-Exposure Conditions
20,000 mm water columnExpedition Shell is designed for severe mountain and polar environments where wind, snow, rain, abrasion, and prolonged exposure require more protection than a lightweight rain shell. Mechanical ventilation allows excess heat to escape when activity increases.
This shell does not provide complete warmth by itself. Select baselayers and insulation based on temperature, activity, duration, and exposure. Open mechanical vents before perspiration begins building inside the clothing system.
Why Expedition Shell Works
Expedition Shell combines a durable stretch face fabric, a hydrophilic protective membrane, and a comfortable inner structure in one three-layer textile. The exterior sheds precipitation, the membrane blocks wind and external moisture, and ventilation openings allow excess body heat and moisture vapor to escape during hard movement.
